Although it lacks HDMI 2.1 inputs, it has a Console mode that allows it to accept a 4k @ 60Hz signals. Samsung has made some pretty unhelpful navigation choices, too (hitting Exit from the picture and sound adjustment menus, for instance, takes you to the home screen instead of back to what you were watching), and the system also runs sluggishly for a while every time you switch the TV on. My biggest beef with my AW3423DW is that on occasion, the fan will start spinning up every few seconds, and this goes on for several minutes. The Corsair XENEON 32QHD165 has great build quality. There's some very slight banding in darker shades of green and gray especially, but it's hardly noticeable. The desk is quite deep at 36 and my Herman Miller chair is adjustable. The lack of image processor is also arguably a perk because it reduces latency. With regular day-to-day TV audio and the relatively spartan talky scenes that actually make up most of a typical movies running time, the sound appears clean and nicely staged, with the OTS system doing a startlingly effective job of making specific sound effects appear as if theyre coming from the right place both on and slightly beyond the screen. It isn't really an issue, though, since a setting of '10' is extremely dim. It has extremely thin bezels on three sides, but there's a small gap between the side of the screen and the first pixels. Thats no bargain, but its less expensive than a number of smaller Mini-LED and OLED monitors. Visually, the difference between the out-of-the-box settings and the calibrated settings isn't very noticeable. The Corsair XENEON 32QHD165 has an excellent HDR color gamut. The back of the monitor is very plain, consisting of a single large panel with no standout design elements and no gamer aesthetic. The Gigabyte also has slightly better ergonomics, with a better height adjustment, and tons of extra features, including a built-in KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) switch, so you can control two computers with a single set of input devices. It also includes 3.5mm audio and optical audio out, providing two options for passing through audio to a soundbar or speaker system. Its possible to connect a PC (through DisplayPort), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X at onceand still have room for a 4K streaming stick or box. There's very little banding in areas of similar color. There are also some text clarity and color fringing problems; however, it doesn't affect the overall picture quality in games. The Corsair has much better colors, with a much wider color gamut in both HDR and SDR. The Samsung S95Bs audio is in some ways a pleasant surprise, given how insanely thin most of the TVs bodywork is. As with all of Samsungs high-end TVs, the S95B supports the HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG formats of high dynamic range, but not Dolby Vision. No cherry-picked units sent by brands. Its painful to go back to an IPS panel monitor after seeing this. It's Corsair's first monitor, and overall, it's pretty impressive. On the other hand, the Corsair has slightly better ergonomics and a slightly faster response time at the max refresh rate. Theres also support for Multiview picture in picture, no less than three built-in voice assistants (Samsungs Bixby, Google Assistant and Alexa), a new Video Calling app (though youll need an optional extra external camera to use this), and Samsungs increasingly curated and useful TV Plus roster of streamed TV channels. Blacks aren't truly black due to the low contrast ratio, though, and there's a very sharp cut-off at the monitor's peak brightness, which causes a loss of fine details in bright scenes. The LG Ultragear 48GQ900-B specifically targets this audience with features specific to the PC, like DisplayPort input and a high refresh rate. New York, Really heavy bass effects can still cause the onboard speakers to crackle and buzz from time to time, too. Finally, although it supports HDR, there's almost no benefit to it, as it can't get very bright in HDR, and it has no local dimming feature. The Samsung Smart Monitor M7 has excellent black uniformity. The 'Fast' setting we recommend at the max refresh rate has more overshoot at lower refresh rates, so there's some inverse ghosting, but it's not too noticeable. Unfortunately, it's a bit oversaturated in Adobe RGB, which may disappoint some users. The Samsung M7 43" is alright for office use. The Ultragear 48GQ900-B remained relatively inaccurate, but close enough for general use. I havent had any issues with it. It has a superb SDR color gamut, but sadly, colors are over-saturated out of the box, and there's no sRGB clamp. The monitor itself doesn't feel very well-built, though, as there's quite a bit of flex on the back panels, and the materials used feel a bit flimsy.
